are there times that the employer wont give you certificate of employment? and blackmail you to comeback and work to them or else they wont give NOC and certificate of employment? are there rules in qatar that could prevent this to happen? please let me know...thank you
Well its nothing new. It goes on big time out here and then there are some of this middle managers who know very little of the job at hand and spend more time playing petty politics and trying to fill up their depts. with fellow countryman like gunnapala and gunnashekara and other ars* lickers
Most of the employers here refuse to provide certificate of employment regardless of your excellent performance. Once you decide not to renew your contract for them you are an enemy. I hope you are aware of this Mr. HR (?).
it's sad that such thing happens in qatar. im shaking right now because im bound to go there next month. i actually settled to cancel my visa with my employer but he said if we go to that option then i will pay him all the processing fees he have done , plus when he will cancel my visa he is not willing to give me NOC at all.
the main reason why i ought to cancelling my visa before he have shown signs that he will not follow the contract we both agreed but lately he promises to comply. it's sad this employer is a doctor at al khor hospital.( a hospital with good reputation- belongs to hamad group)I only hope that just in case he is not satisfied to me later on, i only hope even he will not do the honor of giving NOC then a Certificate of Employment at the least.
there will be such circumstance that employer will not give certificate of employment depending on your performance... this is due that they should indicate on how you performed during your work period including how many times you received warning letters or as such... but if your performance was more than what they expect, they should give you a certificate... if they don't want you to go, ask for increment, try to negotiate with them and it will be better for both of you...
