Mazdaism
Ahura Mazda is the divine entity for Zoroastrians. The round sun disc symbol with the wings is associated with Zoroastrianism.
I wonder why a Japanese automaker would name themselves Mazda and use the same symbol as their logo.

@JAPAN country's local name is Nippon or Nihon. Both Nippon and Nihon literally means the sun's origin as shown in their flag symbol. Using the name Mazda would be appropriate as a symbol for their quality autoline products. It's a great honor to use the symbol of the divine entity Ahura Mazda.
