Please enlighten us, my wife and son is under my sponsorship, we are planning to go for vacation on April, I know that myself needs permit to go out of the country, but I am a bit confuse if my wife and son needs exit permit as well, and where I can get their permits?

I have a friend who will be cancelled in the next 60 days, how long can he still stay in Qatar after his cancellation?

If your Wife and Son are under your Sponsorship then Exit Permit is not Required....

your friend can still stay for 7 days after the cancellation.. after that, he will have to pay daily fine..

If they are under your sponsorship they do not need to obtain any exit permit. As for your friend he can stay in the country until his RP expires OR if the company cancels the visa then he'll have to leave immediately, we dont know for sure coz we have no idea on your friends visa status :P
