Experiences of Airmiles redemption to share….
I’m HSBC Premier Member and had redeemed reward brochure (worth over 100 thousand points) bearing the product model with series number from Airmiles Centre. I had presented the reward brochure at the authorised dealer shop near Airport Road.
However, the dealer was given a lower quality and lousy product as totally different in the brochure. I was argued with the dealer why was given differently, the dealer was answered, “that is the product we have, if you want you take it, otherwise just leave it” I was surprised this was the response!!
I immediately called back the Airmiles Centre, the Airmiles Centre responded that, “if you don’t happy with the product, you may return the reward brochure and Airmiles point will be reinstated in your account”.
This was the real scenario reward for being a Premier member of the Bank. Do you think the above scenario being treated fairly and reasonably???.....
Thanks for sharing your experience here so that other Airmiles members are aware of such things. Making such bad experiences public using forums like QL is the best way to teach them a lesson. Hope that someone at HSBC is seeing this...

Lodge a complaint immediately with HSBC Premier as airmiles is an HSBC product ! Hope they will help you as long as the claim is genuine.
They never seem to carry ANY stock that is shown in the brochure.
