Hi QL Members,
Soon iam moving to Fujiraih,UAE. Anybody Fujiraih return QL members pls share your experience like house rent, indian schools, living cost and entertainment. Its very usefull for me before iam going there.
I am in Fujairah and am planning to shift to Qatar in a few months. Fujairah is a laid back town with hardly any traffic, OK shopping and 2 decent CBSE schools and a few GCSE schools and a British school too. The best thing is that it is hardly a hour away from Sharjah and a hour and half from Dubai, so you can go to Dubai or Sharjah any time you need and then come back to the quiet of Fujairah.
The cost of housing is comparatively less compared to Qatar, but at the moment the demand is more than the supply due to shortage of electricity for completed houses. If you get a better career deal in Fujairah then move. The rest of shopping and cost of living is the same as in Qatar
Again... if your with family...its good place or else its boring nothing much to do. Good thing then is that Booz is free like you walk into a grocery store ;-)
I lived and worked in Fujairah,UAE for 3 years untill 31st Dec 2010.
I would say you give me a call (33357174)after 6pm....as your questions are very limited and I am full of answers to every question that might come across your brain :-)
Hi, UAE is nice place to work, but Fujirah is not having much shopping malls, entertainments like Dubai or Abu Dhabi. If u want u can travel to Dubai, it's the matter of hardly 2 hours drive.
House Rents and Living cost in Fujirah is very cheap comparing Qatar. If you have got a better pay or the same pay as you are getting here, I'm sure u can move to UAE. I don't know abt the Schools.....Please wait for the futher comments from other....
