UV lights for fish tank
Does anyone know where I can buy UV lights for my fish tank please note these lights should be as small as the bulb in ur bathroom or a ligh bulb size i.e in Lenth
having loads of algae in the tank its becoz the light is too bright they are breeding there.
What does UV light do ?

Also how much do they cost.
If you can get a few water snails they will eat the algae off the sides of the tank and move the tank away from direct sunlight. A UV light in the tank is there to enhance the colour of your fish, making colours look brighter and more beautiful, not to kill algae.
By the way - we were given a lovely bowl with fish and within the first day one died of "white spot" and another one has a huge, swollen, red mouth. Our neighbour also got a bowl of fish and all dead within a week. Whats up with the quality of fish here in Doha. Anyone know a decent shop where there are healthy fish?
