Introducing water to babies

Can anybody advice me how to introduce fruit juice to our 6 month old baby. He does not like to drink water hence I thought of giving fresh fruit juice. He is on formula milk as well. I am really worried because when he passes urine it is really yellowish.

your baby may not like it, but he needs it.. give him small amounts, he'll get used to it eventually..

6 months baby is too young for fruit juices.if the urine is yelow then you should give the baby more fluids and by fluids i mean water.

Please provide him fresh water, he needs it...if u try to give him fruit juice/Water With Sugar instead of Fresh-Water, your problem will grow more.so try to make him habit to Drink Fresh Water.

NEVER give sugar to an infant. It is very bad for them. Ask your pediatrician what you should do.

When my daughter was young and we were in Yorkshire that time,a british dentist told me that even gums of baby needs to be cleaned by a lukewarm water dipped soft cloth.Sweetened water will create some infections may be.try to give baby lukewarm water only.he will drink it for sure.avoid giving sugar to baby in any form ... :)

No big deal it happens, try to give water with spoon & with sipper. if not taking direcly then dilute the juices with water that way baby will get water.

Try adding a pinch of sugar to luke warm water.

About fruit juices, try apple juice which comes in small bottles, available in the baby's section in FFC/Lulu hyper.

I'm sorry but little infants need water and they should be given some all day.Start slowly though,so he gets used to it.
