HP PAVILION DV6 Lapttop's battery covered under warranty ?

Hey guys , it's been 6 months since i purchased a Hp pavilion dv6 from landmark , and now i am getting a message
where the battery icon is located on the taskbar saying that 'consider replacing your battery'

i want to know whether the battery is covered under the warranty period !
