Profession : Engineer
..for fear of hijacking an earlier post, i raise this one..had earlier asked about who gives a care on the credentials - employer or immediately upon entry..
..the reply i got..
..your credentials and i presume you mean your acadamia then yes it matters only to your employers and if you had not met with their criteria you wudnt have got the job...so NO it has got nothing to do with entry but yes it has a lot to do with your designation given in your visa....for example Engineer or Lawyer or etc etc..
..i'd like to add..would, upon entry, there would be need to present the credentials..?
..i already had an agreement with my employer that my authenticated documents will follow after i got there ( and is now being processed by my brother)..
immigration officials in the Philippines sometimes asked for your professional licence (which is of no use here) before they will allow you to exit. this happened to me during my 3rd outbound to Doha. Funny but true.
Just have them ready with you if ever they will ask. :)
anyways, all my credentials are with red ribbon from DFA.
Good luck.
Just so long as you have the visa stamped onto your passport, there won't be a need to present any additional documents.
