Prepare 4 Uni -6th Form training courses

Hello
I have seen in Dubai, they offer specific training courses to support 6th form pupils who are leaving the Middle East and maybe their families to study at University overseas. The courses cover, how to cook for yourself, how to manage day-to-day at University (washing, shopping, living, staying safe...) and budgeting and financial awareness.

Do you think these courses would be popular in doha? Say 8 week programme once a week during the last semester of school?

Let me know your views Qatar Living.

That said, it sounds like a good idea, from the parents' point of view anyway. They hold the purse strings after all.

I reckon you will need a lot of luck to get the Doha boys and girls to attend!

You might want to specifically throw in:

Getting the Night Bus Home After a Night Out.

Putting Together Outfits for Freshers' Week.

Sourcing Used Textbooks.

Catered Accommodation. Is It All It's Cracked Up to Be?

Who is a Home Student?

That Ideal University. Is it the Best for Me?

Better still, why not hold briefings for parents? That way they can pass on the information to their teenagers, at an opportune moment, in the comfort of their own homes.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

The best tip is to save the money that the course would cost.
