Hi I am currently interviewing in India with a company for a position in Spanco GSK Qatar. I have about 3 years of experience in India in Online marketing and sales. I have asked for a salary of 6000 Riyals. Is it a fair amount? Also does anyone know of this firm? How is Qatar as a place to live in, Ive spent a good amount of time in Bahrain but never even travelled to Qatar. Please share your views however blunt they might be :)Is it worth it?

Brother i would suggest you to join this company. i worked in vodafone through Spanco GKS in 2009 and now i am working directly on Vodafone payroll. Spanco GKS gave me a platform to perform and to prove my self.
About your salary as a beginner in qatar it's good. when i joined spanco gks my salary was 5000 QR and now i am getting 9000QR + Accommodation from Vodafone.

Better be in India. Its good for IT career. No learning here in qatar. In 3 yrs u can save more money in India
spanco gks will ruin your life man.... salary never on time, dont ever think about release or be ready with 30-40K to ask one... even if they will pay me 30K i will not join em... management also is sh*t
