Customer Service at Vodafone store !!! %$#

I have been to Vodafone store in Mushreib area to check about the promotion they had for “share holders” (I am a Vodafone shareholder and I was part of their first 1000 customer too). as I was on vacation during the promotion, it wasn’t available to me. so I just wanted to check if there is any way I could get the promo (I have called their online support earlier and they directed me to store). They had few customers in the store and I was in queue. The guy there in the counter was taking too long to finish the customer. By that time, I saw another counter and it was free (which was having an Indian look like female as customer service, little fat and with specs). So I moved to that customer, as soon as I reached there,

she is like “
You were in that counter right??
Yes,
Then you can go there itself.
Why?
That’s better
I know what’s better for me coz I been waiting here for long and I am in a hurry.
Ok but its better you go there
Why?
Coz I need to “GO FOR A BREAK”.

I really didn’t like the way she treated me. anyway I told her I just have only small question. Somehow she answered my question in hurry as she wanted to get rid of me. I had to wait another 10-15 minutes go to the next counter to get the proper answer as I wasn’t happy with her answer.

I really felt this should not be the way you treat your customers.

@Screwed,

Thanks for the feedback. I am Gem and I work for Vodafone Customer Care. I will report this incident to the concerned department for proper action.

Thanks a lot again.

They don't need "customer training", they need basic manners.

We rarely see people who do EXTRA MILE service!

They should get some kind of a customer service training!

maybe she understood as to who you actually were and didnt want to help you.

Did you mention the fact she wore glasses and was a little fat in the hope somebody knows her or were you just trying to be derogatory?

What somebody looks like has nothing to do with their ability.

However, saying all of that, she should have dealt with you better than you were.

If she was due a break surely there must be a sign to say; position now closed, that is placed BEFORE they bugger off'.

Vodafone is giving far better service, but very sorry to tell that they have to improve alot, similar exp i faced in Lulu hypermarket. I don't know a why a company like vodafone is not taking this issues seriously. lack of professionalism and training is reflecting everywhere
