Is exit permit required to lelt qater? if it is required, original passport is required to get the same?
Dear Friends,
I am from india just entired at qatar on 13th november 2010, my companey has provided my visa,As mentioned in visa "visa type-WORK VISA-One Visit"& "Purpose Of Visa-VISIT" but the visa is not yet stamped, After joining this companey I found they dont pay salary to their enploys on time,they hold the same for atlist 3 months. But i have a family to support back them in india,I already told them in this situatuin I'll not be able to continue this job, plz release me.After having a lotof discussion my GM(owner)told me by next wednesday u'll get released, but my HR manager is asking my original passport to issue the exit permit.
Can u please tell me as per my situation the exit permit is required or not?, if it is required The original Passport will be requiring to get the exit permit?
I'll be very thankful if you will post the asnwer immediately.

why need passport for issuing an Exit permit
My dear friend, with out exit permit you cannot exit from quatar, so handed over passport and get both

original passport is not required, as exit permits are issued thru the internet
Yes buddy, you have to show the original passport in order to get the exit permit from the Immigration. The fee for the exit permit is QR.10.
They will give back your passport and the exit permit.
