here's my situation. I am on my family visit visa and eventually hired by a private company. now im on my last 5 days as family visit visa. i just wonder what are the requirements should i provide to be able to transfer my visa to working visa. although as i asked our mandub. he said my visa is under process. i am just worried coz the only requirement he asked from me was NOC from my brother which is my sponsor and my brother's residence permit and nothing else. as far as i know, there is still medical and finger print and some photo of me. so, will the visa be transfered with in 5 days.

hope you can give me your knowledge regarding the situation.

Hai ;

My name razeem, currently am in Qatar on family visit visa. Now I can get a job with a private company. I just wanted to know that, when I changed the family visa to employment visa, is it possible to exit from Qatar. Because the company told me to exit and after that only they should apply for my visa. But I checked with other hr companies division and another pro, they told me "no need you exit and you can transfer the visa from here without exit."

Kindly let me know the procedures and whatever it is

thanks guys!i alreay have my visa with me. as the company mandub gave a copy for me. coz i asked him to produced me a copy and so he did. now i wonder, is it ok if i only have the approved visa and i think it is not yet authenticated as it is not placed on my passport and still have no qtar ID yet. he said that it is OK and i will be fine, that he will just continue the following procedure like placing the visa into my passport and have my qatar ID after he is done with other company requirements he need to process. am i safe from wer i stand..only i have now is the copy of work visa printed from the MOI internet site?

Just go to immigration and take your return ticket, and get the visa extended, they might do it for 2 weeks or a month, at least you can try it..

Celeste was right...you should have the proof that your visa is under process,if not you would end up loosing your time waiting for your new visa that might not be on process...remember that's QR200 per day...

If your Mandoob said that your visa is under process, get the paper from him as given by the Immigration main office. There you will know the date of its approval

and how to get the approved visa via the website of the Ministry of Interior (www.moi.gov.qa). In case your

visa expires, you will pay QR200 daily.

before you rely on the your mandoob's info that your visa is on the process, better start extending your current visa for another month to be on the safe side that you are not exceeding from your current visa.
