all we do is answer the same thing a gazillion times.
Can QL start a new section away from Forums and Q&A dedicated to this.
Could QL also CHARGE for this section as people don't want to search. Let's say 50QR with the money going to our favourite QL charities such as QAWS?????
Oryx, the idea itself is great, I mean its charity part.
But the problem is: WHO is giving the answers? About 90 to 95% of the answers are total crap, given by bored unprofessional people who answers based on someone's (my fifth uncle of my second cousin of my great-grandmother)
personal experience, without taking into consideration all factors and circumstanses of the case.
Example:
Q: How long it takes to process the Work visa?
A: 3 weeks, because Work visa of my aunt's friend was issued in 3 weeks. Actually i am myself still in Filipins.
And why the person who is asking the question has to pay QAR50 for this stupid answer?
Q: How long the person should stay with the same sponsor in order to be able to transfer his sponsorship?
A(listen what a crap it is!): for engineers - 1 year for others - 2 years , because I am an engineer and was able to transfer my sponsorship in 1 year, and my brother is IT specialist, and they didn't transfer his sponsorship after 1 year.
Like WHF? the person is answering such sensitive question, connecting two irrelevant things (profession and duration of sponsorship)in such confident manner!
This answer is total crap, so again why the person who is asking the question has to pay QAR50 for this stupid answer?
I personally think, if Mod desided to create such Section, he has to select professional staff for answering the questions, and then to impose the charge, which will go for charity.
I think QL should start hooking up ppl, all those who are still single should get a chance to choose some one for mingle,
as to my own opinion...i love animals too and i have nothing against the like of helping them. I'm more into humanitarian missions. I'd rather help humans who are in need.
the idea of charging new qlers for me isn't the best. if we're irritated with the same question, i think the least we could do here as all professionals is to ignore. besides i believe ql was not created for that kind of purpose.apparently some folks happen to enjoy throwing sarcasms if they are not interested with the topic or if one is against their views and opinions...
c oryx, repeated questions cmes frm those ppl who hav less time to actually read thru the whole discussion forum to get ther answers. n if u track these profiles, u wud kno tht they r not tht active on QL. Some people create this just for getting there queries cleared.
n to my knwlge, i think these ppl r not really aware of hw QL works. they kno to post a question and get there answers in time

If they have time to create an id and post they have time to search. So a small fee for things could motivate good answers because it would be for charity.
PV. I do go to Qaws and help.....but they need a lot more help than I alone can give them.
Dude if you dont want to reply, ignore it man. simple as that. not every one has the time like u to surf thru old pages. if sme1 has a question ther wud b sme1 else out thr whose willing to reply.

why need to charge for repeatedly ask questions post? New in QL,looking for job, seeking help for their visa asking fora help with about their visas?...in tyhat case they will not bother to check in QL if they got charge with their Questions...Cmon Oryx if you want to help QAWS you can go directly to them and give your help...I think no need to include those who repeatedly ask the same question..
It seems that few newbies posting questions on QL are unaware of the SEARCH OPTION....
Well i don't mind helping them out many times but yeah sometimes it does irritate me too....:))

this doesn't mean that we will answer the same question over and again. Isnt that the reason the search option is given ???
some of us will argue that we shouldnt look at the questions... agreed. if we started doing that then whats the point of using QL ???

its a great idea oryx... the regular guys in QL would for sure know that there have been so many such requests for the same.
bloody buggers dont even admit that they are lazy. i can bet that out of the so many posts posted on QL that less than 1% search for an answer.
and as always every bugger posting the thread claims his problem is genuine and there is no answer when he tried to search... This makes me laugh...
an exit permit section shall be added to ql forum too, people sake of exits can refer to know about the skills of escaping out safely!!

there was a cat i saw on my compound with a massive massive open wound....the compound brats had probably be stoning it....
I tried and failed to catch it and take it to the vets.
Qaws see a gazillion things worse on a daily basis...
Some people need info...a little fee for useful info would help OP and our charities
if there is a charge, stupid/timepass posts wud be reduced.

Yes I do...for the 'owner'...this is a way for QLers to generate money for charity with their helpful answers.
We could have a monthly nomination and vote for our prefered charity and divide it equally.
I do good....
People will get their questions answered and very needy causes will get help too.
The answers given here would often cost a lot if you just think of the time it would take to go to a lawyer or the ministry of labour.
