So Where are the Ostriches?

I've been four-wheeling all over the Abrouq Game Preserve for two years and have not seen one ostrich. Is there a certain area where they hang out?

Yes the ostriches went to Australia to visit their cousins the emus!

The Ostrich (Struthio camelus), is a shy creature. It tends to avoid expatriates and either hides or buries its head in the sand at the first sign of a quad or land cruiser.

Why not distribute abayas to the ostriches. Then they will no longer hide from the expats. Maybe they will wink at you.
