Satellite TV and Internet
2 Questions:
1. What is the current quality of internet in Doha? Is it fast enough compared to other Western countries? Can you livestream videos fast enough?
2. Are there any satellite broadcasts which show Australian sport? I'm wanting to watch the NRL which airs every week when I head there next year. Usually on Fox Sports and Channel 9.

Yes definitely a good sports package on orbit showtime, currently watching le ashes meself

OSN shows live NRL, plus AFL and most rugby so its a pretty good sports package if you are from down under. Currently they are showing the Ashes LIVE which is great.

Try looking on the listings www.osnetwork.com to see if they are carrying the games you want (hopefully they're not time delayed)
Internet is fine, unlimited and able to cope with streaming no problem. Expensive though especially compared to UK.
Satellite here is pretty rubbish both in quality and choice. Hopefully some Ozzies can confirm but certainly have seen NZ rugby on one of the channels.
