i have un-cancelled saudi visa in my passport from one saudi private company issued in 2003.

Actually i joined one sabic group company through man power consultant and i was issued intial visa for about 2 months validity. During this two months, i found that private company through which i jonined sabic as contract hire was not following committments they made with us.

i was requried to leave them without information me. After few days, i received a letter from that as i am asking more salary , they have terminated my job and informing goverment department to cancel my visa. But it is uncancelled on my passport.

I came to know that Qatar visa is not being issued to one who have uncancelled SAUDI Visa, even if it is old. Actually i am workign here in Dubai for last six years but there is problem with Qatar visa.

i am selected by one Q Company as senior engineer and i am worried on this subject.

Any expert advise is solicited.

You heared is correct. As long as a GCC visa is valid in your pasport there is a difficulty for qatar visa stamping.I was also faced this problem few years back when i was having the oman visa valid in my pasport. No other GCC countries keeping this system.Better to consult a qatar PRO/Mandup to know the recent changes in that system.

I dont think there should be any problem,if they want to reject you will not able to work in dubai rule is everwhere the same in GCC if i am not mistaken...........dont care for rumours.......wait for some more answers........good luck

That visa is long since expired and no longer a problem here.
