I applied for my wife's Pass Port on 3rd Jul., 2010 with Passport Office in India, Thane. It will be almost 5 months now, still online status shows "POLICE REPORT NOT RECEIVED" Where do i need to check further.....
Oh my friend it is very difficult to get ur new passport or to renew u better go to the passport office and find it out,if ur doing by urself it will take time catch hold of an agent and tell him to the passport by TATKAL it will cost u little more but u will get immediately.AMCHA AMCHA MANSALA VODKUN GEVA.........Speak in Marathi ur work will be done..................shout at those guys in the office ..............and tell them that u will go right on top or to the commisssioner and complain...............then u wait and see.........how things work out........good luck

If the police verification is already done, you may meet the concerned passport officer by filling the form.
It may required to write a letter in plain paper saying that you need an appointment with passport officer. Please mention your file number etc in it.
Also attach some proof like job offer from Qatar etc and so need the passport ASAP.

ALL BRIBES PAID 1ST 500/- AT THE STATION NEAR MY HOME he said no more inquiries will come any more.
2nd time 200/- when a PANDU came to my how he also said the same thing this is last no more inquiries will come.
3rd time 200/- when an inquiry call came frm a station near her parents place also the same reply this is last one no more inquiries will come.
Now getting frustrated is it so hard now to get PASSPORT......
Well police report submitted already at 2 stations 1st from the place where we live 2nd frm the place of her parents.
Did you submit the Police Report? If not, submit it and your will get the Passport without any delay.
