Howzzat! Assange leads online poll for 'Person of the Year'
LONDON: Embattled WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange leads an online people's choice as Time magazine's 'Person of the Year' with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and pop singer Lady Gaga well far far behind him and the other world leaders nowhere in sight. The 'Person of the Year' will be selected by Time's editors next Wednesday; and the issue with the winner on the cover will appear in the last week of December.
he is the father of "FREEDOM TO KNOW"
Now we know how our political leaders "serve" the "people's interests" :)
he is so damn brave!:)
Was watching Fox and Ledderman .. You should hear some of the vitriol against him and the alleged "leeker"..
Whilst the leaks have been embarrassing, there is no real major story.. I do think that he did the right thing..
I salute his guts!!we need more Assanges...
i recently came to know about this man , didn't have a time to read a lot about him.
future also will reveal if he is working alone in the name of "freedom of speech" or to a specific organization.
.
but from what we see in the news, he seems to be a brave man, because he is challenging not only the most powerful government in the world, but it extends to reach a lot of governments, and as we all know that everyone who is doing this must be crazy or brave, and in both sides they suffer because the oppressing by these governments.
