if the new visa will be released before the end of her/his stay here as tourist... no need for her/him to exit the country. just make sure the processing will be finished before the duration of his/ her stay here ends.don't worry you still have less than three more weeks to wait. visa processing only takes 3 days (minimum). NOC not needed

Thanks again guys for the info.... @ctl...... So it merely depends on the company, did your friend exit Qatar just to obtain another visa? (working visa) I'm just so worried of my cousin.

My friend from dubai also came here under tourist visa through hotel. they did not ask for NOC. it depends on the mandoob. they can process it sometimes without NOC.

but anyways, NOC from Hotel sponsored visa I think is free, better to get one to avoid being reported to authorities or any trouble in the near future. Hope it helps!

sometimes they will not transfer tourist visa to residence visa

if she wants: she can go and come back by the new visa, if she wants to stay then there is some form to be made in the immigration office and Q.R.300 will be paid then the tourist visa will be transferred to working visa.

my brother came in this way but he went out after the first visit and he came back after 1 week without any NOC.

you mean tourist visa through the hotel?

The tourist visa sponsor needs to issue NOC for Work Visa Transfer.

NOC is required when it is working visa, but for tourist visa it is not necessary.
