let her contact the Qatar Foundation for the protection of children and women (AMAN);

Women Shelter Dar Al Aman 44475781, 44475923

Foundation Office at Hamad Medical Corporation 44391443

Foundation Office in Capital Security Center 44251117

HMC does have "Rape Kit" and they perform examination on Rape victims, She must step forward

How many times though do we hear of this? Surely something has to be done to protect the Qatari employer as it seems quite the fashion for them to be seen as 'rapists'.

Of course there will be no bloody action from the recruitment agency. Why would they care? They got her the job, end of it for them.

Why not the Police?

Surely if she has been raped there is some marks and DNA could be taken etc.

Oh and one last thing...why would anybody ask for help about a 'rape' on a site that is dedicated to helping people know Qatar; that is looked after by (I think) by Qataris and surely looked at by Qataris and all posts checked?

Nobody could be that stupid.

If your 'friend' has been 'raped' go to the Police. Take her there and get it investigated. As far as I know, the Police are not 'superb' but they do take the issue of rape seriously. Don't come back with; 'she works for a 'high up Qatari' because if she did they would have your IEP address now!

The employer tried to rape his maid who happens to be somebody I know. Her families are now looking for help, they contacted the Recruitment Agency but until now there is no action.

when it is discovered this is another maid who lies?

Not saying it does not happen ALL over the world. However, I know that a lot of these 'rapes' are made up.

I should think that the first step should be to inform the embassy and get their help.
