Relocating to Qatar

Need some information from you, as recently I have been offered a job in Supreme Counsil of Health, Qatar, the total salary is 18K all inclusive. Just tell me will it be fine for me with my wife and daughter to live? what can we save there? what about accomodation expenses..like 2 bedroom flat rents and cost of living..discuss in detail.
also discuss about the visa procedures, I mean do we need to send them the medical, I am now in Muscat. Also what about police clearance? how much time does it take to get your family over there etc and all what you need to mention over here.
