BUSINESS VISA
i have a friend who came here with a business visa. if worst comes to worst that he cannot find a work within the three months of his business visa, can he apply for a new business visa? say he'll go to dubai ,on visa upon arrival, then return here with a new business visa? what are the requirements for the new application? is there any ruling/law which states that once a business visa has expired, that person can only apply for a new business visa after 1 , 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 months AFTER the expiration of the old business visa?

yes. my friend has a business visa. he is searching for a job here. once he finds a job his employer will process the working visa. thus converting/transferring from business to working visa.
but my MAIN question is, can he come back in Qatar after his Business Visa has expired and at that time he wasn't able to secure a working visa?can he apply for a new business visa? does he have to wait for months (1 , 2 or 3 mos)to lapse before he can return in qatar? or can he immediately return to qatar or just stay a couple of days in dubai before he can return here? if it will take more than a moment for processing of new business visa, then there will be a big problem on his part coz he can only stay for one month in dubai via tourist visa upon arrival. hmmm....
that's why i need to know the exact days/months processing for the new business visa.

MDQ, the original poster said it. His friend is using a business visa to look for a job in Qatar. Business visas are valid for people who have jobs but many buy these visas illegally in order to come to Qatar and search for employment.

Does this situation applicable for Family visit. Taking a tourist visa immediatly after a family visit
buying and selling visas is illegal.
Would have thought Business Visa was to allow them to come to Qatar to conduct business on behalf of a company whom he worked for outside of Qatar. Wouldn't imagine it would allow them to get a job in Qatar as you need a Work Visa for that.
Would therefore imagine that if they tried to convert a Business Visa to a Work Visa it would be very difficult. I know my Work Visa couldn't be processed as I was here on a Tourist Visa at the time, to decide if I wanted to come here.
As such I would imagine a Business Visa would be OK for renewal almost immediately but I could be wrong. However I do not believe they could take up employment on it, unless starting their own business as an investor.
