Oh no..I can go without eating any day and I hardly eat till night most days but if I consciously try to fast, I can never do it..

drmana- its impossible for moon to come out so soon...specially on chauth, moon will appear after 8.30 PM. :(

Soniya- I am doing good dear. Wish would have done karwa chauth with u with proper traditional way. as of nw doing it as I understand. :(

Mums were hungry as hell..almost 6 in the eve....kids were normally on guard at the roof waiting to see the first glimpse fo the moon.

The one who saw the moon first, offcource would b the hero of all...lol

josh to top it all my daughters PTC meeting is at 5:20 today........so have to drive all the way, attend the meeting then come back and cook......

iam saying after u do the katha at 4 pm u can have tea and coffee anything only once and alter on wait fo rmoon to come then open the fast

we can only open our fast after we see moon in doha ..........not as per indian time .hope it comes out a little earlier than usual

but after puja we can have something to drink like teaaetc

still atleast 4 hrs for the moon to come out.....and we don't even eat before sunrise..............

which time you will listen to the story of Karvachauth?I mean that that time only we doo puja for the plate of goodies for the mother in law and one plate of goodies for a brahmin lady..Do you follow the same procedure or something else.We have one neighbour she is teacher but she said she willtake the goodies plate.How are you going to do the puja in the evening..

My husband bought me kaju barfi from Aryas in Al-Meera.And in the morning when I was having it with milk I felt that they have mixed peanuts also alongwith the kajus for sure.. :(
