can i trust ebay...?

i like to buy many things from ebay....but i neva bought anything from sites like ebay and all... so dont know wetha its trusted or not...did any1 in qatar bbought items from ebay ...if yes then please share your experience...
Check the seller if you really want to buy something from Ebay. Go for the seller with the highest rating of positive feed backs.
I have already sent Item here Using Ebay (purchased a laptop) and in Amazon (Toys)...... XD
You have your answer mate, trust on sellers with higher ratings.. and enrol in paypal.
Ebay is BEST to purchase anything.
It is not right to say if you trust Ebay. What is most important is the EBAY RATING of the seller.
Remember Ebay is just the forum of buyers and sellers.
You dont purchase from Ebay. You purchase from real people and businesses. Even businesses like Sony, HP, clothing retailers and many others advertise on Ebay.
Rating above 99% with a long history of sales is best. The rating can even be lower with a seller with over 100-500 sales. Never deal with anyone with a rating lower than 95-96%. Many sellers will even ship to Qatar.
Best to open a PAYPAL account if you are able for an easy transaction.
It's not eBay that should be trusted or not trusted. eBay is only the marketplace. You need to trust the seller of the goods. Look at his feedback rating. If he has thousands of feedbacks and a very high positive percentage (e.g. 99.5%) then he can be trusted.
If a seller has less than 500 feedbacks or has a low positive percentage, then rather look for another seller.
EBay does have a buyer protection policy so you have some reassurance but don't rely on it if you haven't done your homework.
