What option does one have in Qatar if he is not been paid salary in time ?
Hi my fiancy is in Qatar since jan 2010.. he Joined work as a marketing executive and was getting his salary in time..but past 3 months he is not getting his salary in time and moreover suddenly they have started deductions , because of which he is facing lot of problems...he is not able to send money home and not able to take care of his expenses there in Qatar... he is ina big problem now... he has not paid his rent past 2 months and nearly has money to even eat his food properly... we even approached the GM...but he said there is no money in the company... what should we do now? how can he go for a release? and after he gets his relaese from his current company , will he be able to stay back in Qatar and look for another Job? thirdly I want to know if there is any NGO ini Qatar which can help him with his living and fooding for a while as he is in a big problem..?
Get your Employment agreement paper and file the case in Labour Court. They will take necessary action..
He may got to labor department and submit a complain against his employer. there they will force them to pay him all his dues. since he is not completed with one year employment time, then release will not be possible. at labor department, they may stand beside him in many issues provided that he has a working contract and has RP stamped in his passport
