try to feel what you like with your budget...dont worry about the maintenance afterall its brand new and more or less your the one that will determine how long your car will last.

not all the people are looking forward to stay in Qatar for their whole life...in this case, people tend to think abt resell value of the car..and even we thought abt it...i dont see anything wrong in it.

I would buy a ZOTYE NOMAD II a SUV and still save QR15,000

the cost of ZOTYE NOMAD II is just QR46,000 I guess...:)

try to get a used Merc or BMW... enjoy something called driving... do not be carried away by the stupid words like resale value, spare parts and easy-to-maintain.

Enjoy life...

Buying cars thinking about resale is like getting married thinking about divorce or something similar but I am sure you get my drift.

By roy_dig• 17 Sep 2010 13:16

Saeedkan, do you buy cars for reselling?

I think, gabee2007 is not a dealer whos concern is the reselling price. What if you get a great value reseller and in the end finish up by going to workshops everyday? "oh I have a great reseller with cheap parts outside and I love to stay in workshops everynight"

Come on, buy something good in make.

Yeah Vignale is right. Buy something american. Even with same specs like trailblazer, you can also have Ford Explorer, Dodge Durango, Jeep. Much better cars than the ones you mentioned in your list.

And they dont give you frequent maintenance issues. Just normal Oil change, air filter etc checkups.

You Get a nearly new Chevrolet Trailblazer 4x4 for 60K - it is cheap to maintain and very good quality.
