What's the best solution for bedbugs?
I've inherited a bedbug infestation from a sofa set the landlord was storing in my villa before I started renting it. Moving to another villa is not an option, but I'll probably have to get a new mattress - what's the best way to get rid of these things?
I've had one pest control company come out and they were completely useless. Does anyone know a quality pest control company?
Insecticide wouldn't kill them, they are more than a pest. But here some tips for you,wash your clothings and bedsheets with warm water frequently,remove clutter in your room, Usually bedbugs hides in crevices on walls, bedsides table, chairs, tv stand but mainly in your bed.Check for blood spots on your sheets and black stains on your bed which confirmed their presence,they are really small and flat shape that can crawl like a ninja, these blood suckers especially nymphs is almost invisible to the naked eye and when they attack you can't feel the bite because it will inject some form of anaesthesia into your skin so not to disrupt their drinking party, but hey they have a weakness, HEAT, yeh they are susceptible to heat. You can bask your thing under the sun especially during summer or apply heat. I use a hair dryer which is very effective just be patient though, they are good at hiding but they can't escape with heat, nymphs and eggs will be fried, I forgot to tell you it will need only a week to two to reproduce, so I blow dry the bed until all the edges are so hot, they will come out jumping, others die instantly and also I found out that they are killed with alcohol solution, you can spray it directly without those obnoxius smell of insecticides.At last I have my revenge and that's my story.

throw out the linen and old mattress of the bed and make pest control in the entire villa, including the furniture; wash all your clothes and other linen at high temperature; include the neighbor apartments, too, in the pest control otherwise they will come back; after one week should repel, because of the eggs (check with the pest control company)
within this period you should be out, is quite toxic to stay there.
