Family Problems !!!!

Two men, one American and an Indian were sitting in a bar drinking shot after shot.

The Indian man said to the American, “You know my parents are forcing me to get married to this so called homely girl from a village whom I haven’t even met once.’ We call this arranged marriage. I don’t want to marry a woman whom I don’t know or love. I told them that openly and now have a hell lot of family problems.”

The American said, “Talking about love marriages... I’ll tell you my story.”
I married a widow whom I deeply loved and dated for 3 years.. “After a couple of years, my father fell in love with my step-daughter and married her, so my father became my son-in-law and I became my father’s father-in-law.”

Legally now my daughter is my mother and my wife my grandmother.
More problems occurred when I had a son. My son is my father’s brother and so he is my uncle.

Situations turned worse when my father had a son. Now my father’s son, my brother is my grandson. Ultimately, I have become my own grand father and I am my own grandson.. And you say you have family problems???

94% of Indian couples say they are ‘happy’ in their relationships but a majority say they would not marry the same person or marry at all if given a choice again.

Razimak - Who said that 'Indian culture is far superior culture to American'?

That's a rather bold statement to make, and what a generalisation to say that Americans as many girlfriends as they want - in every single culture there are good and bad relationships. I would be a bit more considerate before going and bashing other cultures. No one is more superior than an other.

LMAO! which is why they called 'opinion' ayt? lolxx it's only a notion or conviction; a belief stronger than impression but less strong than positive knowledge.

Razikmak how did u measure that? .

"Indian culture is far superior than Americans". "Indian respects the relationship and have good social conditions".

How did you come to conclusion that you have superior culture? . You are saying also that you have respect for relationship and good social conditions and Americans have opposite. Do you know what are you talking about?

I’m sure that you don’t know anything about multicultural issues.

Also I think you have culture shock problem.

This American's have as much as girl friends as they want before they settle with one. But the Indians love deeply and trust after marrying one. As far as Indian culture is concern is unity though their is diversity in culture. Indian culture is far superior than Americans. Indian respects the relationship and have good social conditions.
