Are u tired of being tired
I found this good article worth reading.
Secret sapper 1 – Your phone
Sleeplessness, dizziness, headaches and tiredness, can be symptoms of Electrical Sensitivity (ES) which apparently affects 35 per cent of the population. This electrical energy interferes with our body’s natural rhythms and cordless phones are the wort as we tend to keep them beside our bed, where we receive electrical waves from the base. Other risk areas include: using the hairdryer for over 10 minutes, keeping your digital clock by the bed and sitting too close to your computer screen.
So its time to switch to an analogue clock, a flat screen monitor and keep your wireless network router in a different room to your study or bedroom.
Secret sapper 2 – Your lunch
You could have a food intolerance, which can cause lethargy and irritability. Food intolerances trigger an immune response, which uses up huge amounts of your energy. The most common food culprits are wheat, dairy or sugar. If lunch is a cheese sandwich, or creamy soup and a roll, your body may be using up energy by simply digesting, rather than actually converting it into energy.
If you think this could be you, go and see your doctor and get a referral for a food allergy test, a naturopath can also help by putting you on a food elimination diet to work out reactions to certain foods.
Secret sapper 3 – Your bed
Suffer from insomnia? A disrupted night’s sleep affects you physically and mentally and in the long term you can end up with massive sleep debt that your body can’t repay, no matter how much sleep you get. Look at the reasons why you might be suffering from insomnia - stress, too much caffeine, alcohol (all of which can disrupt sleep patterns). The correct mattress can make all the difference too or try putting a sheepskin mattress cover on. It will soften hard mattress and keep your body’s temperature down.
Secret sapper 4 – Vitamin B12 deficiency
If you’re taking multivitamins and eating a healthy diet, yet you’re exhausted, ask your doctor to check your vitamin B12 levels. B12 helps the blood carry oxygen around the body, so it's is a must for energy. If you’re tired and emotional, you may just need to increase your overall vitamin B intake.
Secret sapper 5 – You’re depressed
If you lack motivation, have no interest in sex and your weight fluctuates, this could be you. It’s time to go and see your doctor who will either suggest antidepressants, a course of therapy, or both. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is recognised as effective in helping to change the patterns of your mind.
Secret sapper 6 – Your workout
Not how, but when you work out could be what’s sapping your energy. Don’t do high intensity exercise before bed as your adrenaline, heart and respiratory rates will be pumping and you won’t be able to sleep. Do energy forming exercises such as running, walking or aerobics in the morning and stick to yoga at night to help calm your mind and stretch your muscles out. Remember that as little as 30 minutes of light activity will help boost energy levels even if you are too tired to even think about exercising.
