I am not sure about the maid but the embassy can answer that. Burqas mandatory by law in Saudi. Also you may require fingerprinting at Qatar-Saudi border and a retina scan at the Saudi-UAE border. Roads are good though there are NO cameras in the Saudi section and most drive insanely. Plenty of speed cameras in Qatar and UAE. Hope this helps.

You don't need to go to the embassy. But if ur designation is something else, then I heard normally they don't give it from the embassy here... First you need to get visa from the UAE Embassy it's in the diplomatic area, then you must get Saudi Visa and it's only done through travel offices
