Best place to pay Zakat?

A-Z
By A-Z

I've been trying to pay my Zakat, and not having much success with where I can pay it.

I've tried paying online at the Red Crescent international site, but they won't accept my Qatari Credit card. The Qatari Red Crescent online site is broken - i translated it to English and tried there and it came back with 'Merchant not found' when you actually try to submit.

The easiest option seems to be to pay it in _cash_ at the malls. I realize this is a bit of a cash culture, but I feel uncomfortable giving a sizeable amount of cash (Alhumdilillah) to someone sitting at a desk in a mall.

I could do a bank transfer to the Red Crescent International account, but there has to be a better way. How is everyone paying their Zakat?

Hi friend contact with MKRF ( mir khalil ur rehman foundation ) or edhi trust they will distribute your zakat in flood affected areas in pakistan. Plz dont send it to Prime minister fund & bakhtawar trust, they will never give your zakat to them.

Dude there is an old species which exists on the face of the earth call poor people pay to them....and rather than paying online and getting rid of zakat why don't you search them for yourself ....make an effort to help the poorer by your own .and yeah remember you are not doin a favor by paying zakat ,the one who is taking the zakat is making a favor on us(if I remember this is a nearest meaning of Hadith)
