Tenancy contract clarification

I am living in apartment and having two years direct contract with landlord and already one year and one month is completed.Now due to my family problems, i decided to go back my home country.I explained to my land lord but land lord is not agreed and saying that you have to find a substitute.As per contract, i have to give one month notice if i go out of qatar.In this condition, pls suggest me what i can do? Many thanks in advance for your valuable advice.

if the contract does not say that you have to find a substitute then you do not have to comply with what the owner demands. you can now go to the rental dispute office located in the muntazah area beside muntazah park.
