I had my first baby in 2008 15th August through c-section, had my second through c-section again this year in March at Hammad hospital. I have no problems. My wound is completly healed. Everything about me is fine. You'll be fine don't worry.

same predicament here, my baby is due on November, my first one was thru C-section last 2007, labored for more than 12 hrs and then turned critical because of distress. I'm kinda afraid if I can make it thru Vbac this time coz I'm a small lady. with my first child, at nine months I was only 90lbs.

drmana, you would be surprised to know that the IRAQI doctor who operated me at DOHA CLINIC had 4 c-sections in her life....hehhehe...

My case suddenly turned critical at the last moment and thus i had to go for urgent C-SECTION and this lady doctor was kind of inspiration for me...:))

Some docs advise tubal ligation of female after 3rd C-section so that they don't risk their life again. But to be done with patients consent. It more to prevent surgical complications risking life of both mother and baby.

My sister has had 3 C-sections so definitely till 3 it's fine. She had them in 2001, 2007 & 2010 so bit of a gap between them.

its possible and safe after 3 years, if not, the baby should be small enough not to tear the stitches. :)

yah commonly its up to three.. but it should have long intervals.. get the wounds heal first before another c-section.

vaginal birth after a Cesarean delivery....Very much possible ( Depend upon the cause of C-section in the first pregnancy)

How many c-sections can one woman have?....Not definite but generally advised is maximum three.
