I would like to take my Laptop with me, but I heard that voltage is 220 and that batteries will not survive long when used with an adaptor. Please, can someone tell me is this is true?

Most adapters for laptops are rated for 110-240V, so you would use your laptop in the same way you are using it now.

The only thing you need to make sure of is that you have an adapter as all plugs in Qatar are the British design.
