Any suggestions on schools that may have places for the coming academic year, preferably British curiculum.
Already spoken with DESS, Doha College, British Montesori, Park House and all have no seats.

Surely there must be schooling available somewhere???

Cedars is now starting to close the register for seats for September but there are a few places still available.

Go to www.cedarstutoring.com for further information and to fill out an application form.

Briefly, Cedars offers the British Curriculum and specialises in placing students on waiting lists for larger international schools. We also provide a number of other unique services, full details of which are on the website.

Best of luck.

What is the gender of your child?

Are they native english speaker?

Have they already been in an english school or an international school?

Have you been into the schools with your child or have you just called them on the telephone?

Did you turn up with the money for the deposit?

Just keep plugging away with all the schools - they may not have places now, but some will come free as the new term starts - obviously this is very worrying for you but I am sure persistance will pay off

Welcome to Qatar, you have to start trying a year in advance at least to get your kid into the school you want, otherwise, they don't get the education you want them to. :(
