The 'Most Famous Posters' are not necessarily the most interesting. I get that they kept the forum awake at times, but the hijacking and the non-sense on threads were too much for even the moderators. Does that make sense?
I am ok with it..I mostly remain on the Q & A section to help others with my knowledge..so it doesn't really bother me if FORUM is not as exciting as it used to be before..
Agree gkramer. Used to be you could actually have serious discussions on Ql (ahhh back in the day :p) Now a days it's just joke threads and people blah blah blahing.
There are about 10 threads on the Soccer final yesterday, how many times can you discuss the same thing. Obviously it will become dull. Nothing to bash America with today either, though there were bomb blasts in Uganda which left 50 dead which can be discussed.
The proposal of Karzai to get some blacklisted Taliban off the list to facilitate peace talks is also an interesting move but I don't think people here are interested in anything too serious.
FU, FS, WK and few more have left the QL, it seems..So QL is not exciting us these days..Their threads and comments were always interesting...I hope they shld return back..
