Hi,
Chadqa is correct. According to the Qatar Labour Law, employees who have spent less than a year in the company can file for a resignation with a notice of at least 3 days. look also at the company policies if you have any. read through your contract regarding resignations. different companies have different policies when it comes to this. Reading the Qatar Labour Law will be very helpful to you. Also, if in doubt ask someone from your HR department who is well versed on these kinds of things.
Good luck!
Hello,
Just reminding the 3 posters above, it's not about the company policy, it's always about what was stated in the Qatari Labor Law.
As per the law, both parties may terminate the contract at any given time during your probationary period without reason.
Thanks,
Approach your Boss directly dont go through any 3rd person, many times people will spoli mood of Boss, explain the situation and request him to consider to accept and release you and also request that even you are reday to pay for your ticket to go back.
When you approach Boss definitely they will consider and may not even take any money.
Pray God before you meet your Boss that your meeting should peacefull and get released.Nothing is Impossible for God.All the best.
You will have to submit your resignation letter before one month………….you will get all dues and single way ticket also………there is no right to catch here after giving resign letter………..some companies levied penalty for breaching contract…….but I think there is no right at all………..and after the resignation company will get other visa for replacement
How long you have been in your company? Anyone is entitled to resign from their work, but you have to shoulder any charges against your current company contract..But if you have a good job here, why you need to resign? You and your husband has been here and i believe you have your family member(s) in your country who takes care of your daughter. What if your husband new job is not that successful? Think about it..
If your company has policy towards repayment of visa charges (which i completely doubt) you can always resign. Moreover, do you have a probation period? Resignation would be easier if probation is not yet complete. You will have to submit your resignation, work until the notice period and would be free to leave the country. On the other hand, if there are too many complications, then you can always go for an emergency leave and.....
