Do USD$1579 (inclusive flying pay) + meal allowances are enough to live in Qatar?
Do USD $1579 (inclusive flying pay) + meal allowances (location specific during layovers) are enough to live in Qatar? Is it enough to save money for a single lady? They offer me this:
* A three year open-ended contract.
* Competitive TAX-FREE salary of USD 1579 (inclusive flying pay) + meal allowances (location specific during layovers).
* Welcome bonus
* Free, fully furnished shared accommodation with own bedroom.
* Free transport while on official duty.
* Comprehensive medical coverage.
* Life insurance coverage.
* End of service benefits.
* Travel concessions on Qatar Airways and partner airlines.
Please answer, thank you!!!
Thank you to all of your answers guys! =)
If you love the job then it is up to you, but personally speaking cabin crew conditions are not good here. I have seen cabin crew under pressure working...... Eventually it is up to you... There are so many restrictions on cabin crew.

Its not a bad amount if accomodation and transport is free.
Only you have to pay for some shopping and other basic things.
Not bad for a single lady specially if you will spend your money wisely and practically.

Enough for a week.
If this is Qatar Airways you are talking about, you should check with them about the restrictions applied on you for using company accommodation as in curfew and other stuff. If that works for you the salary be enough for a single.
Yes, it's an internationally competitive salary in the industry. Plenty to live on. Remember your accomodation is free and you will only be using your own money while you're in Qatar.
