my friend wants to visit Qatar with his family for holidays for a week from Saudi Arabia by his CAR.
Can anybody advice me the details to get visa?

Tell your friend to book a room in a hotel and they will issue him the visa, but you can't sponsor your friend and his family... YOu can only sponsor (five extendable months for immediate family members and two months for second-degree relatives). This kind of visa is called Family Visit Visa....
