One Year Old "Pregnant"
A year old Chinese girl who is to be operated soon was diagnosed with her twin in her womb.
When Kang Mengru abdomen was seen protruding day by day she was taken to hospital for ultrasound after which the doctors were amazed to find a baby in the womb the child's twin brother.
Doctors say that the embryo was not caught in the womb and has found another place to grow.
Mengru will undergo a Cesarean delivery. Such cases "foetus in foetus” is very rare and can be found one in every 500,000 pregnancies.

sometimes, we see twins joined at the head or back or buttocks etc. this one is one within the other..

Also, if god is great, then why has this little girl suffered and her twin brother never survived. I don't understand some people's thinking here.

This is a quirk of nature. It's sad that this child is now being made a media star and possibly ridiculed.

mdobrasz, its not a birth defect....it can happen in some twin pregnancy. No specific cause known.
I think it's highly unlikely the baby would survive considering the human gestation period is 40 weeks, this little girl is already 1.

99% chances are less..lets pray that the alive girl shldn't face ne complications..
Since the parents of the little girl have taken measures in the begining itself, chances are likely that the other twin may survive...
There was one case in the yr 1939 from PERU where a 5yr old girl gave birth to her twin..

Same kind of case has happened with INDIAN man sometime back..We can't call it as PREGNANCY but its a part of twin that get intact inside the WOMAN's womb at the time of birth...
