Multiple resident permit (RP) for short time within GCC possible, pls answer.For example I have RP in Qatar and got job in Bahrain so I will go Bahrain & make RP in Bahrain for familiy visa and come back to Qatar for cancellation of Qatar RP, so for a short time (around 45 days) i will be have two RP, is it possible? pls let me know. Thanks a lot.
As per Qatari Immigration Law...You can keep your RP of another GCC country by paying QR 2000/Year. I believe it would be the same for other countries as well.
However, in your case, Bahraini Immigration would most probably allow you to keep your Qatari RP till it expires. (without paying the fee, if there is any).
You can not have dual RP, but there is one Work Permit by which you can represent in other GCC ,go and come frequently,normally they call it as GCC visa given for senior like GM,MD,Senior marketing.
For family visa sake, i dont think u can have two visa's
As far as i know, no one can have two RPs at the same time of two different countries..U need to cancel ur RP of QATAR before leaving for BAHRAIN..Kindly wait for other QLers for more precise answer..
