Is QR4000 be enough to live on (accommodation & bills & food provided)

Hi,

I am looking at a job offer for a Sales Executive at a hotel chain.

My basic is QR4000 however accommodation, bills, uniform and onsite meals are provided.

Can i live on this amount considering i need a car and would like to enjoy weekend?

No way mate. 6 - 8 K is the lowest u ought to look at provided all else is covered.

If all utilities are provided by the hotel & you don't have much liabilities back home, then QR.4000/- basic salary is more than enough for a single person :)

Hey it's really a low salary for a Brit. It's not even 1000 pounds (8,800/annum). As far as your housing and food is concerned, it is being taken care of by the company, so I guess you could live comfortably, but don't expect any saving. If you lease a small car you may spend QR 1600 - 1800 on monthly payments, fuel wont cost you much unless you use your car for sales. Then on weekends you may go to the bar and spend some money there as well. Then your cosmetics and other expensis, so what is left at the end of the day?
