By PAKISTAN EDUCAT...

Today was the last day of our class and it was also a last practical exam so we friends decided to have a little party cause it was last day of our class. So it's obvious that it was our last day, and we want an autograph signed by all our class mates so we bring extra school shirt so that we can give autograph to eachother in school shirts and we also bring camera's so that we can capture the last movements with our friends isn't that good? Doing all is this is sin or any commit? is this called unfair means?
We didn't even start the party, suddenly the teachers came with vice principal and told us that this is unfair. Teachers warned us to come out whoever has camera or signed autographed shirts. We students were shocked that it is the last day of our high school or class and they are going to do this drama. Teachers and vice principal warned us that they would call the the principal of school, so it's obvious that each student start shivering. They collects all our students autographed shirts, mobiles and camera's and then they called one teacher to capture us students in coloured marks clothes in their school camera and finally all students were crying that what they are going to do to with our pictures do they post on newspaper or do they show to our parents and that's awful. There were around 50 students. Then the teacher bring the booklet of fines forum and give it to each student of 100/200 QR fine. And this was not a serious violation of the school discipline. That's the last day of our school and we'll never forget this day 05/05/2010. TEACHERS OF PEC SHOUTED ON US WILDLY AND ABUSED US. THIS IS THE TRUTH OF PEC.

Everyday they give us fine, everyday and that's truth about PEC. Seriously! they just collect fines nothing more than that!

SO WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE THINK ABOUT THIS!! PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH US!!

We also called it that time Pessa eating Centre (PEC) and the principle always said its not like that.

I found that they treat English mediums students Good than the Urdu mediums-(May be theie fees was high).

There was Annual day for junior wing 1 in PEC.

This event was for giving Merit certificate to Junior Students,Ambassador of Pakistan children’s are also in PEC, so many student could not get Merit certificate because they have to give to Ambassador’s children, Ambassador is not to be blame because he was present as a father, but Principal of School, A man of Principals. VP of junior wing 1, maybe they point more score and their Job is save now. So cunning. Weldon PEC.

people have lot to say about PEC, some Pakistani Student are in different School in doha. I never heard anyone is complaning there, they park cars in Parking place. never dare to utter a single word about that School. how it is easy to say many bad things about PEC. park the car infront of the gate. if student bring the mobile and teacher stop them, if car is not right parked and some one said remove, if the student don't do thair home work, writing on the wall say so many bad things about teacher and School, if student have so many grups called killar etc, every thing is Ok. at the end of the day PEC is not a good school. can you do this all in others school?

slaver very right...we got soem of the new teachers at 10th class..or maths teacher..she use to bring guide n copy on board n then we only write from board..she didnot explain any thing n later we complained to vice principle n after many excuses we finally got sir from boys wing..n that teacher now is in the junior wing..

By ghazalz• 8 May 2010 20:29

but why didn't your class demand the same style lecture again?

By slaver• 8 May 2010 20:21

a experience with you. One of my science teacher never ever explain about any thing. just read the book. write answer on the board and ask us to copy. in the end we all pass but just PASS. one fine day PEC school principle came to our class (his routine round once a year in boys wing), that time science teacher just open the book, principle came inside so teacher close the book and attend principle. principle said that dont worry you just carry on, this is first and last time we come to know that our science teacher is a very knowledgeable person, he explains each and every thing in a very easy way, principle very impress and we shocking impress. Principle give some BHASHAN and gone and after that same routine, copy and paste. this system have to change. teacher must understand responsibilities

If a person wants to remain anonymous, he can drop a complaint there.

By ghazalz• 8 May 2010 19:56

Parents are in charge for upbringing of their children...

They are free to choose the education system, learning environment and the social atmosphere of the campus for their off springs...

as they wish & as they prefer...

Being an educationist, I observed some expatriate international schools & a few local ones, they're far back discipline wise, they rarely have hardworking faculty, their fee structure is distressful, they have extra charges for each & every event, their bus fee is 6 to 8 times more than this community school etc etc.

But we send our children there happily and never dare to complain for a single thing.

By slaver• 8 May 2010 19:11
slaver

its very easy to complain with any school but its very difficult to complain in our school as mostly (not all) teachers take it personally and this effect on student future.

By slaver• 8 May 2010 17:09
slaver

i respect your views but did you notice that mostly parents now prefer other schools. Why? Before it was privilege to study in PEC but now situation is different. PEC should be number 1 school as it was in past but this only possible when teachers take full responsibility and with full dedication. Students come here to LEARN, please understand this, it they know everything then there no point to go SCHOOL. every person have his/her own responsibility and teachers have more responsibilities then students.

PAKISTAN EDUCATION CENTRE

i respect whatever u just said but why they are abusiing us ? each and evrytime they blame on our parents

pec is not a school anymore ..PEC is a burden of torture to the students .. teachers should play there role nicely and kindly but THEY FAILED .

I'M SORRYY BUT SERIOUSLY THIS SCHOOL GOT NO MORE REPUTATION .. if this thing goes on continously then obv none of students will love pec NEVER EVER

By slaver• 8 May 2010 16:18

By lawa• 8 May 2010 12:57

of you all students you should organize it well first you should take permission of authorities then do it in well mannared way as a celebration not like huled bazi so they did thier job only teachers and voice principal are who keep the discipline not they can't allow you to make anything you will not feel it now when you will in field then you realize that things should be proper i am also ex student of pec and we also did our party and we never can forget that moments we really enjoyed that moments

but i am sure what ever i am saying you will feel bad for that

By anonymous• 8 May 2010 12:30

School is School not a Club house. school is for learning should not use as a fun place. why all student can not go somewhere els for party? there are some good teacher too, should not blame to all, You have learnt in this School for some years, is this respect you have for your country and from the school you have Learnt? please never blame your teacher because they are who give you a gift called knoldge which make you a better person and bring you close to Allah, I know some teacher do not play there role ,teacher should possess intellectual honesty and broadmindedness in addition to a high tolerance

By blue_rose• 8 May 2010 10:36

remember PAKISTAN EDUCATION u passed only 10th in PEC n if u wish to continue studies in PEC not to complain to authorities now..coz taechers of PEC will treat you more badly after complain n u will be noted by the eyes of each n every teacher..

if u wish to leave PEC now n go for other college u may complain now..otherwise wait till second year n the last of day of second year do what ever u want..complain to authorities or what ever u want..u will be free

i remember when we were in 10th class we were not allowed to do farewell party as many of our class fellows leaving to pak that time..bt teachers n principle didnot allow us..coz according to them farewell party will only for second year students..

so we decieded to do party outside bt we will do..with the support of our classteacher we did party outside at shezan..n teachers were also invited.then the other day we write a complain to principle of the school MR.HUMAAYYU (who is the current principle as well) n on that letter each student sign is there..the letter reach to principle he cam to our class..we explained everything that y we wanted farewell party..he agrees..from then onwards they started 9th n 10th farewell..

to do things properly they will listen..be united n kind enough to expalin them with respect..

Abusing and humilating to the students is also called discipline ?? AND charge the bus fee and not providing bus during exams is also called discipline ?? then how the children contact the parents to bring them back after exam.

Where it is written in Ministry Of Education Rules to FINE the students generously ? For this SOON we students/parents are going to contact Ministry Of Education for imposing of FINE by school Administration is as per ministry rule .

By ghazalz• 7 May 2010 15:25
ghazalz

The Ministry of Education does not allow any student to bring their Mobiles/cameras at the school premisis & It's very well communicated to all schools...

yes beta, to make them obey some rules is always called discipline.

U called it dicipline?the childrens can not do any activity in their class room?then harass the children and take their photos,is it character building? i think children parents should lodge a complain to police against teachers and principal for taking girls photos.PEC only motto is how to robbe the money legal and illigel way.

By hyderabad5• 7 May 2010 14:28

It is better to die for once not everyday.now PEC is no more education centre,it is paisa eating and fine(jurmana) centre, what you are paying and getting is zero,it is better to close this centre than atleast our children can get better education, now with the name of pakistan system education, both PEC and Islam abad board bothing cheating and looting the money from desparete parents

slaver give me a single example of charging fine on a well disciplined student...

As I said earlier; all the mishaps start where; there is an action against the rules.

Yes, fine is a burden on the parents & the credit goes to some students who make them suffered.

By slaver• 6 May 2010 20:24
slaver

agree but why now lots of complain, even i met some teachers and its really bad experience. And why they start the FINES. This something new for me. more burden on parents. why? yes, if any student damage school property so you can punish and collect money for damage but why fine for any single mistake? I will meet Sunday with Pakistan Ambassador and will talk with him about this matter.

By ghazalz• 6 May 2010 19:35

Dear frustrated high school student,

School is a place where you all go for learning...

Luckily, we Pakistani place the first priority to character building of our kids...as we are not only the human being, we are Muslim too...

A group of students is not a herd of cattle, they need to be organized, they must have to have some ethics & some moral values...

A good school has some liabilities towards their raw material that is our new generation...

I asked you in the very beginning ‘have you ever got a code of conduct for students?

And you replied with a big No.

If you have gotten the code of conduct earlier...which surly you have had...You would have been learnt some values that how to behave as a good/normal student & how to enjoy your joys & happiness in the school premises with in the given guidelines.

As many of our friend mentioned here, they have spent their memorable last days at the school & I'm sure, they must have followed the guidelines which their school had given them.

All the mishaps start where; there is an action against the rules.

I don't agree to the actions taken by the mangement of the school against the students. They should be allowed to celebrate their last day of high school, but sometime the students also over-react which put them in trouble.

There is a serious need of some drastic changes to one of the biggest community school in Qatar. Its hard to change the mindset of few people in few days.

No other schools have this system. wow PEC, you really now a money making machine and Khanan, can you tell them that where they can raise their voices? in-front of school management so you must be kidding as if any student or student's parents meet with management for this issue so that poor student will be in a big PROBLEM and you know that. girls, calm down, they just got to know how to make money and you should pay the fines other wise they never ever issue your school living certificate. I miss my old teachers who always helpful but now no use. I strongly support you but i tell you one thing that there no use to talk with school management even if your parents talk with them as now PEC is not a school, its just a money making machine. Dont forget, PEC means PAISA EATING CENTER. School is wonderful but the staff is >>>>. (off course not all) any teacher from PEC please clarify this.

By anonymous• 5 May 2010 19:07

...talk to your parents...request for Parents, teachers and sttudents meeting..

if you have school body organization, let the said org to request meeting with the teachers...

Every good talk will result to peacefulness...I'm sure almost 99% are pakistani's and PTA & students can deal it giving attention to school protocols and students rights..

Graduating highschool was indeed a memorable one and students can show freedom of expression but sometimes we have to be careful keeping in view what culture, pratice, religion, group that we are on.

Good luck...
