I have a current job offer for Qatar but i didnt submitted my resignation letter ti my current work because im not sure it the rummors are true if its hard to get a visa for ladies in Qatar. Im afraid that if im gonna hand -in my letter then it turned out that i cant get a visa for Qatar and end up unemployed.
Please help.
And another thing, enshala if ill be on Qatar, would it be hard to secure a visa for my husband? I read some blog that only on people working on Hamad Medical city can secure family visa.
Please help me again.
Thanks a lot
Here in Qatar it is little bit difficult to get female visa , especialy Indian , pakistani, Bangladeshi... etc., but it is not impossible.sometimes it will take long duration to get ,sometimes it may also be in a short period , it depends upon the Immigration officer's mood.
So it is better to resign after getting Qatar visa to ur hand.
What both gentelmen mentioned it is completely correct, it's all depend on the employer if they are able to have a female work visa under their sponsorship or no, and as long you will have or you had the interview, then sure they can hire you, because there is no respected company will interview a candidate without to be sure that she is able to be under their sponsorship, this is the first part, but for secure double check with their PRO.
the second part, now the Immigration rules been implented recently, and they start to accept for the wife to sponsor her husband/family, but in narrow cases and not only Hamad Medcial as this been from more than 20 years back and not now, but as i said the new rule already came out and it's possible, but depend on the nationalitly and case by case AND depend on your sponsor if they are power enough to obtain the approval for you or no.
My wife came to Qatar on a working Visa, no visit, tourist etc, just had an interview outside of Qatar and then applied and got the Visa, but it was turned down first time and accepted a week later on the second try, of course all of this was done by her current employer.
It depends upon the company who hired you. Some companies here are not capable of sponsoring women. Just try to make sure they can, that's the best way. Sponsoring husband, I'm not that sure if you with family visa can but anytime you can bring him with family visit for 6 months, with that span of time he can look for a job. Try to wait for others comments... God bless.
