Hi, Good Day to all of you. My RP was cancelled in Feb.5,2010.Now Im in the Philippines, My mandoub told me that he will issue a working visa for me, But it's been 2 months now. My question is can I comeback to qatar under Family Visa? Visa sponsored by my brother? If I can enter qatar under family visut visa, Is it possible for me to work in qatar if I can get NOC from my mandoub/previous employer???

Unfortunately, Family Visit is only applicable to DIRECT relatives, meaning Father, Mother, wife/husband and children only. Brother/Sister, cousin, etc. had been removed from the list of Direct relatives, hence chances of getting the type of visa is minimal to none. Even if you arrive in Doha under any type of Visa, you cannot work without a NOC and Release.

Hi there..

You can come back to Doha with cancelled RP using family visit visa, if you have a qualified family member as sponsor.

This visa type can be extended up to 6 months and when it expires, you need to leave the country and can only return after 3 months.

If you can get the NOC from your sponsor , then, you are allowed to work legally. Otherwise, it is prohibited by law to work under family visit visa only.

You got two issues

No NOC=No job

tourist visa only

Check with inmigrations in Qatar.

I forgot to tell you, the cancellation of your visa is automatically 2 years banned from working in Qatar. You could come in as a tourist not as a worker

The Noc will just over ride your work porpose.
