Nojoom Points are Back

Qtel Fixes Technical Issue on Nojoom
All Nojoom Points being restored to affected customers
Doha, Qatar
Qtel today fixed a technical issue related to the Nojoom Rewards Programme. The issue had caused some members’ points balance to drop over the past week.
Qtel has now fixed the problem, and has restored the missing points to most accounts, with all affected members’ points to be re-credited by 31 March.
Qtel is also providing 500 additional Nojoom Points to affected customers, to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Adel Al Mutawa, Executive Director, Group Communications, Qtel said: “Technical errors are very rare on our systems. However, when issues do occur, it is important that we let our customers know and that we resolve the situation quickly and efficiently. Given how important Nojoom has become in the daily lives of many of our customers, we have also decided to make a goodwill gesture by providing 500 Nojoom points to people.”
The Nojoom Rewards Programme is free for every Qatar resident who has chosen Qtel as their service provider. Members are rewarded with Nojoom Points each and every time they make a phone call, send an SMS, watch Mozaic TV+ or surf the Internet.
Nojoom enables customers to spend the points they earn on an extensive range of gifts and experiences, including air flights, gadgets, and cinema tickets, or to exchange points for Qtel products and services. Qtel will be adding a number of new partners in the weeks ahead.
One of the most popular customer reward programmes in Qatar, Nojoom has already given billions of points to customers since its launch in 2009.
