McGEE, for your information , if I say you cant walk by leg means there are lot of meanings; may be I could avoid by leg but the result is "uric acid symptoms of gout - inflammation, swelling, redness, heat and agonising pain - are caused by uric acid crystals in your joints, tendons and surrounding tissues. The most common joints are the big toe, foot, ankle and knee, but, almost any joint can be affected. If it effected how can you walk.

1. see your doctor if you haven't already done so.

they will prescribe the tablets that you take to bring the uric acid levels down. otherwise you get gout and its painful.

2. if you can see someone about your diet. maybe able to provide clues as to what and why your diet is triggering the uric acid increase. but you have the usual suspects : not enough water, too much protein ( meat or legumes ) and sodium.

regards

Ouch!! From phamarcy try Alo purinol - normally does the job. Effervescence salts may also help.

Drink a lot of water everyday, refrain from eating beans and legumes, low salt diet, eat lots of fruits and minimize eating red meat such as beef, lamb etc... I hope this helps..
