After the issuance of a visit visa...

By caffeinatedGEN •
...if one decides not to go to Doha right away, is there an expiration date for the issued visit visa? I mean, for example, I got a visit visa approved on Monday and I get it on Wednesday, do I have to book my flight to Doha as soon as possible or is there a time frame allowed before I have to go? Will the visit visa expire? If so, how many days/months/years after being issued/approved?
Thanks!
Thank you so much! YOu guys have been helpful.
within three months you have to enter and have to extend within a month after arrival.
Visit Visa validity time is 3 month. After issuing date with in 3 month visitor has to enter in Qatar
The Visit Visa is Valid For 3 Months From The Date Of Issue. You Have To Enter Within 3 Months And The Upon Your Entry You Have 1 Month To Stay In Doha Unless You Extend It Then You Have To Under Go A Medical And After That You Can Extend It For 5 More Months.
It Is Up To You To Extend It For A Month Or 5 Months, You Can Extend It For A Month And After That You Can Get It Extend It For Another 4 Months.
I Hope This Is Easier For You Now To Decide When You Want To Book Your Ticket And When To Arrive.

Normaly the visa after issued should be good for several months for you to take your time, apply for visa and travel. but check on your visa or call the Qatar Embassy that issued your visa
validity of the visa should be on the visa, date of latest arrival in doha
